Canadian rock legend Kim Mitchell is set to electrify the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls with a special performance to celebrate the music of Max Webster. Joined by his current band and friends, Mitchell will treat fans to the iconic Max Webster song catalogue that helped shape the landscape of Canadian rock including “Paradise Skies”, “Let Go The Line”, “A Million Vacations”, and “Battlescar.”
Originally scheduled long before the unfortunate and recent passing of Max Webster members, Terry Watkinson, Gary McCracken, and lyricist Pye Dubios, Mitchell plans to honor each of these members during the night.
“I’ve been really excited to perform a whole evening of Max Webster songs for the fans! Mitchell explains. “I’m saddened about the recent passings of Terry, Gary and Pye, and intend to honor each of them while celebrating the music we created together.”
Max Webster is one of Canada’s most iconic rock bands. Formed in Toronto in the early ‘70s and fronted by the multi-JUNO Award winning Kim Mitchell, the band built a devoted following with its distinctive blend of progressive rock, hard rock, and humor. In 2023, the band’s lasting contribution to Canadian music was acknowledged with an induction into Canada’s Walk Of Fame. Mitchell and Dubois were inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2021.
Tickets are now on sale to the public.
