Industry Icon Lionel Lodge Releases New Book Rights & Revenue: A Global Analysis of Membership, Distribution, and Efficiency Across PROs and CMOs

In this new paradigm of the music industry today, artists find themselves trying to maximize revenue streams with new visions. With the world of live bookings, touring and merchandise sales are dwindling, the word that often gets discussed but certainly not understood is sync, distribution and the ins and outs of PROs and CMOs. Artists say ‘I want to get my songs in a movie or a series’ without any knowledge of how that actually works. Distribution is something that needs an in-depth explanation with DYI replaced the old label platforms.

This new book by Lionel Lodge is a well-priced, affordable purchase to give artists, new indie labels, managers and beyond a roadmap on all that is available to you.

When asked about his own insight into this world of the music industry Lionel says:

“I have always made music for the love of doing it and the love of sharing it with audiences, With the joy of creation as a main inspiration, it is easy not to give the essential focus on the all-sustaining money, and the many revenue streams available. It is the artistic story that has been part of the narration that has been part of the artist narration for hundreds of years. It isn’t cool, it isn’t sexy, it is simply limited to the ability to create. If you can’t afford to buy paint, you can’t paint your masterpiece.”
