Séan McCann Extends His ‘Great Big Canadian Road Trip’ with New Fall 2025 Tour Dates

There’s nothing quite like singing your heart out in your own backyard—and that’s exactly what Séan McCann is doing. The beloved Canadian troubadour and Order of Canada recipient is extending his national journey with a string of intimate, heartfelt performances from Ontario to the East Coast this fall.

“Canada is a great BIG country connected by a variety of climates and cultures. Having already covered over 10,000 kilometers on this national tour, I’ve learned that the sum of our differences is never greater than the LOVE we share,” says McCann. “Division is a disease and music is the medicine we all need right now to help find a cure. So, if I happen to pass close to your town, please come out and SING along with me. Together, we can push back against American aggression with all our open hearts. A good song is a friend until the end and a Canada united shall fear no foe.”

Armed with his acoustic guitar, powerful voice, and stories that speak to resilience, recovery, and real connection, Séan’s shows are more than concerts—they’re conversations. From legions to libraries, he’s bringing Canadians together through shared song and spirit.

Best known for his work with Great Big Sea, McCann has spent the past decade forging a solo path steeped in honesty and healing. His recent single, “Proud To Be A Canadian,” has become a quiet anthem for this new era of care and community.

This isn’t about fame—it’s about family. Not green rooms but gathering places. It’s music as medicine, served up from coast to coast by someone who understands that sometimes, the loudest love is the kind you sing out loud with strangers in a room.
