Kylie Fox Delivers the Anthem for the Best Slumber Party of Your Life on New Single

KYLIE FOX

ECMA-nominated New Brunswick artist Kylie Fox is inviting listeners to grab their silver stilettos, fill the limo with cowgirls, and celebrate the people who show up for us through every chapter of life on her infectious new single, “Bachelorette.” Produced by Juno Award-winning producer Corey LeRue (Ria Mae, Neon Dreams), the single arrives July 17, 2026.

An infectious pop-infused Canadiana anthem inspired by Kylie’s own bachelorette weekend, “Bachelorette” is equal parts celebration, nostalgia, and girls’ night chaos. Featuring a singalong call-and-response chorus tailor-made for belting out with your best friends and a tongue-in-cheek “roll call” section introducing the eclectic cast of characters that make up every great bachelorette party, the song is less about wedding traditions and more about the friendships that carry us through life’s biggest milestones.

Released alongside a playful new music video, “Bachelorette” draws inspiration from both the iconic “midnight margaritas” scene in Practical Magic and Kylie’s own fairy-themed bachelorette weekend that inspired the song. Blending carefree party energy with a touch of childhood wonder, the video follows Kylie and her friends through midnight cocktails, dance floors, and morning-after recovery scenes, capturing the joy of reconnecting with the women who have shaped your life.

“Everyone talks about your wedding day being the best day of your life,” says Fox. “But after my bachelorette weekend, I wasn’t so sure. The song became a love letter to the women who have been there through every era of my life. It’s about celebrating those friendships just as much as the marriage itself.”

Known for blending humour, heart, and sharp storytelling, Kylie Fox has built a reputation as one of Atlantic Canada’s most compelling songwriters. She earned an ECMA nomination for Solo Artist of the Year and multiple Music NB nominations, including Recording of the Year, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year. Her music has been featured on CBC’s East Coast Music Hour, and she has performed at major events including BreakOut West, Canada Music Week, Harvest Music Festival, and Area 506.

While much of Kylie’s catalogue explores themes of landscape, community, and connection, “Bachelorette” showcases a lighter side of her songwriting. Beneath its infectious chorus and singalong energy lies a deeper message about chosen family, shared history, and the importance of making space to celebrate one another.

“It’s easy to focus on finding the right partner,” says Fox. “This song is a reminder to celebrate the friends who helped you become the person standing at the altar.”

“Bachelorette” is the first single from Kylie Fox’s forthcoming album.
