Sherri Harding’s latest single is DOWN IN THE SHOALS, a swampy reflection of time spent in the iconic music mecca Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Harding is a powerful soul, blues, and R&B singer whose voice carries authority, warmth, and hard-earned truth. Her Muscle Shoals-recorded debut A Million Pieces established her as a Canadian soul artist with deep American ties, drawing comparisons to Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi. Her upcoming album Storyland (Instant Replay Music, June 5, 2026 – planned) was recorded in Ottawa and infused with Southern soul through contributions from Kelvin Holly, the Muscle Shoals Horns, and Grammy winning mixer Jimmy Nutt.
A soul-tinged reflection on love, resilience, and the world around us, Storyland confirms Harding as a voice built for the long run. “DOWN IN THE SHOALS” is a tribute to all the fabulous artists, musicians and songwriters who have come out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
