International Recording Artists Sweden’s own Bara Jonson and Free (BjF) Had an ‘Appetite’ to Release a Newly Produced with “Appetite ANNO X”

In 2016, Bara Jonson and Free submitted the song Appetite to Melodifestivalen in Kristianstad, Sweden.  It didn’t make the cut. The song was released later that year anyway and went on to live a life of its own.

Now, exactly ten years later, it’s time again. Appetite ANNO X” is released the same weekend Melodifestivalen returns to Kristianstad. Sometimes life, and timing is magical, and this is no exception with the latest release of BjF.

“Appetite ANNO X” is a saucy, teasing song, that shows the parallel side of a woman inviting in an experience without any ties attached, a bold offering of embracing her own sexuality.

“Appetite ANNO X” is not a remix, but a new production of the song Appetite, built on the same vocal performance as the original version. With ten years of distance, the duo has returned to the core idea from 2016 and completed what was never quite finished back then. A more dance-driven expression that was part of the original vision, but somehow got lost along the way.

This is neither a nostalgic look back nor an attempt to rewrite history in 10-year-old song, it is more about the same song with a freshly produced single, carrying a message for women everywhere to feel free to express themselves.

Hello Newfoundland!

RPP (Real People Play) is a humorous but impactful statement for the current state of recording today.

It signifies that the music and lyrics are written by real human creators, and that the performances, recordings and production are carried out by humans.Modern digital tools may be used in the process, including software instruments, programmed elements such as drum loops, editing and contemporary studio production techniques.

However, the artistic authorship, creative direction and production decisions are human-driven, and the release is not AI-generated.
