Submitted by Recordworld International

German dream pop band I WANT POETRY releasing a new single called “Ocean”. If you have been on the more influential showcases around Europe the past month you have encountered I Want Poetry’s great live show and cinematic and dreamy pop. A new album is on the horizon “Solace+Light” that is out 26 of May. Ocean is all that you except from I WANT POETRY, here are the dreamy soundscapes that they make so perfect.

I WANT POETRY went from being an insider tip to a force to be reckoned with within the German electropop scene in no time at all. Singer/songwriter Tine von Bergen and pianist/composer Till Moritz Moll invite listeners to a dreamy voyage between worlds of sound. It’s an eternal interplay of warm nostalgia, serene elegance and a light-flooded glimmer of hope, which runs like a thread through their new songs.

I WANT POETRY released their debut album “Human Touch” last year and were nominated both at the German Songwriting Awards and European Songwriting Awards.

They work together with internationally renowned acts and producers like Kieron Menzies (Lana del Rey), Roy Kerr aka MyRiot (London Grammar, Aurora), Rob Rox (Banks) or Michael Vajna (Malky).
